We thrive as Humans when we are held among a safe, loving, supportive and trustworthy community. Especially when in need of support as new or seasoned parents. Life is beautiful, yet at times exhausting and tumultuous. We are designed to form symbiotic relationships and Children benefit most from living within a family system that harnesses that dynamic. Childcare providers play a huge role in that foundation and finding the right fit is key to growing a successful village of support.

It takes a village…

Various mediums of art welcome space for the child to explore their creativity while teaching them what being present within their own being can manifest. They begin exploring their emotions, thoughts and imagination, encouraging them to create their own masterpiece while developing social and emotional regulation skills, calming their nervous system and feeling a sense of pride and achievement for their created craft.

Art Therapy…

The Natural world is our greatest ally, reflecting to us our spiritual existence within a physical make up. Each season offers the exploration of our innate rhythms and cycles. It's so important to honor and nurture ourselves during the seasonal changes as this brings a greater surrender and understanding to all of life's chapters. We form a greater acceptance to being one within as well as without.

Nature & Nurture…

Stop stressing over weather! Exploring the outdoors is the most natural form of education. Children excel in exploring fresh rain puddles, find excitement in painting icicles, or learn the importance of gardening. The 6 senses thrive when we journey into the elements. Sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and spirit become alive when we re-wild ourselves. Absorbing all of creation and allowing ourselves to become inspired by it will develop our social and emotional relationship to something greater than us, as well as an appreciation for all life.

Rain, Shine or Snow…

Big emotions will always be a reality. Learning and practicing the proper coping tools will bring more ease and calm to the ever changing tides of life. Mindfulness is vital in developing social and emotional intelligence. Teaching Children the proper awareness in identifying heightened emotional situations will bridge the gap between reaction vs. response, as well as encourage self awareness and sovereignty.  It may look as simple as taking three deep breathes, bringing attention to somatics and seeking calming techniques or redirection when necessary.
